March 7th, 2011

Stuff is going on over there! im glad everyone made it home alright, YAY CARL! say hi if its possible, which i highly doubt! fake eyes! Say hi to Brother Matthews for me, and tell him that i am glad hes ok. THANKS
Im good on swedish fish, alex pitched into the supply too. Hey, but when you do, i could go for some good gospel music. i wanted some Cat Stevens too, but ill let you judge if its appropriate or not. just something with soul (SOUL)! but i just got like two packages, and dont want to be one of those elders that gets a ton of packages. thanks for the sweater vest and whatnot too!

ill tell a quick experience.

yesterday my companion and i were walking and we saw some gangsters on the corner. i told my companion i wanted to go talk to them, but then a scripture came to my mind that said BE PRUDENT. if theres a scripture that i dont like, this ones it, and i had a companion that always repeated it to me. (prudente) i dont think ive ever really known what the word prudence really means, but i figured in this case it meant DONT WALK PAST THE CHOLOS. So we turned the corner.
We walked a few feet and my companion told me ¨here they come!¨ and sure enough about 15 came running around the corner.
I thought they were going to jump us, but then a somewhat fluffy rumor came to the mind about it being the day of ¨Carnival¨ where it was tradition to throw eggs at everyone.
sure enough the eggs began to fall. I started dodging, proud to show off my skills and taunting the eggsters with my jests. but then they got mad.
they got closer and closer until one smashed an egg over the head of my companion and we started to run. As i turned to escape, i got pelted in the leg.

We narrowly escaped alive.
on the way home we got attacked again, but were prepared to flee that time and got off scotch free.

I really enjoyed myself, and almost broke the sabbath to buy some and return fire, but thought twice. It did feel a lot like the Counte of Monte Cristo, so that was dandy. in fact it was dandy, but had we walked past those gangsters we would have got soaked like crutchy. the moral? Be prudent! at least when youre in León Mexico on the 6th of March.

thats the pensamiento espiritual!
I love you too!
Have a GRRRRREAT week.
